AYANWORKS
CREDEBL is an open-source platform for Decentralized Identity and Verifiable Credentials management, developed by AYANWORKS and supported by the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust. Designed for population-scale implementations, it enables governments and organizations to issue, verify, and manage digital credentials securely and with data sovereignty. Recognized as a Digital Public Good (DPG) by the UN-endorsed Digital Public Goods Alliance, CREDEBL is used to build national decentralized digital identity systems, such as those implemented in Bhutan and Papua New Guinea.
CREDEBL addresses the challenge of managing digital identities in a secure, private, and scalable way. It solves credential verification problems across sectors such as government, health, education, and finance, eliminating reliance on centralized systems vulnerable to data breaches. It enables citizens to maintain sovereign control over their personal data through Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI).
Provides a web interface (Studio) to manage organizations, agents, and verifiable credentials. Supports shared and dedicated agents for decentralized peer-to-peer interactions. Enables issuance and verification of digital credentials using multiple DID methods (did:web, did:key, did:peer, did:cheqd). Built on a scalable microservices architecture with NATS-based communication. Includes a mobile SDK (ADEYA) based on React Native to integrate SSI features into mobile applications.
Built on W3C open standards for Decentralized Identifiers (DID) and Verifiable Credentials (VC). Integrates contributions from the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF), Trust over IP Foundation (ToIP), and open-source initiatives such as Hyperledger Indy and Aries. Supports multiple verifiable data registries (Indy, Polygon) and credential formats including W3C JSON-LD and Hyperledger AnonCreds.
