Consul

Consul is a web application designed to facilitate interaction between governments and citizens, promoting a space for active participation in democratic processes. It allows users to get involved in the creation of citizen proposals, the management of participatory budgets, the development of collaborative legislation, and participation in debates and voting. Initially developed by the Madrid City Council, Consul has expanded to more than 25 cities in 12 countries, demonstrating its effectiveness and adaptability in various contexts. Its intuitive and accessible interface facilitates the inclusion of all sectors of society in government decision-making, strengthening the pillars of an open and participatory government.
