DECIDIM

DECIDIM is a web environment created to promote democratic participation through the configuration of platforms and portals. This tool allows the organization of processes such as community planning and participatory budgets, satisfying the needs of municipalities, associations, NGOs and more, promoting collaborative design and citizen participation. In addition, DECIDIM facilitates the organization of face-to-face meetings, documentation and calls, as well as the structuring of assemblies and governing bodies. It is a versatile platform that supports consultations, referendums and citizen initiatives, allowing active participation in decision-making through surveys, proposals and voting.
The challenge that Decidim addresses lies in the lack of effective digital tools to involve citizens in democratic processes. Traditional platforms often fail to provide inclusive, transparent and versatile solutions for participatory decision-making. Decidim aims to close this gap by offering a customizable framework that allows organizations and governments to create participatory environments, ensuring greater citizen participation in democratic activities.
