DIGIT is a digital platform designed to improve the efficiency, integration and transparency of municipal services. It offers local governments the ability to automate workflows and address challenges in areas such as urban planning, public finance, sanitation and health. Its configurable, expandable and modular design allows the platform to be adapted to the specific needs of each user, optimizing the management of services, resources and records. Developed with the aim of providing a robust digital infrastructure, DIGIT makes it easier for governments to automate processes and improve the delivery of municipal services. This platform not only seeks to increase efficiency in public governance, but also save time and resources. By offering simplified access to services for citizens, effective coordination for employees and suppliers, and management and policy-making tools for administrators and researchers, DIGIT establishes itself as a comprehensive solution across multiple domains.
The challenge addressed by Digit lies in the fragmentation of digital infrastructure across government and social sectors, leading to inefficiencies and limited access to digital resources. Many existing systems are not sufficiently inclusive or accessible, particularly in regions with high mobile Internet use, but limited access to other technologies. This fragmentation hinders the development of cohesive, easy-to-use digital solutions.
