Microsoft Canada has developed GC Accelerator for Azure, a suite of tools and templates that facilitate the adoption of cloud services for the Canadian public sector. This set of resources includes the Azure Landing Zone, a reference deployment zone that guides government departments to comply with Canadian regulations and accelerate obtaining operational authorization. Based on the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, this system enables compliance with ITSG-33 and NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 4 security standards.
GC Accelerator for Azure facilitates cloud adoption in the Canadian public sector by providing tools that accelerate transaction approval and ensure compliance with national security and privacy regulations.
Built on Microsoft Azure's Cloud Adoption Framework. Offers Azure Landing Zones for Canadian Public Sector compliance. Supports deployment using Azure DevOps Pipelines. Can be adapted for other deployment systems like GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Automation built with Project Bicep and Azure Resource Manager templates​​.
Code in PowerShell, HCL, Shell, and BatchFile. Released by Microsoft Canada on GitHub under MIT license.
