I choose to study is an interactive platform that offers complete information about courses and educational centers in Uruguay. Aimed at individuals interested in starting or continuing their studies, it covers levels from initial to pedagogical, including technical-professional. Developed to unify and facilitate access to educational data, I Choose to Study improves the integration of information from public and private institutions. Its objective is to expand coverage to universities with high demand, such as UDELAR and UTEC, also promoting its use in other countries.
Elijo Estudior addresses the difficulty of accessing centralized information on education in Uruguay, providing a unified platform that facilitates educational choice at all levels.
Career Assessments: Users can take assessments to identify their interests, strengths, and career preferences. Course Recommendations: The platform suggests courses and majors based on users' assessment results. Educational Institution Database: Provides detailed information about educational institutions, including programs, admissions criteria, and reviews. User Profiles: Allows students to create profiles to save assessment results and track their educational journey. Educational Resources: Offers articles, guides, and tips to help students navigate the educational landscape. User Community: Enables users to connect with others who share similar educational interests and experiences. Notifications: Sends alerts about upcoming application deadlines, scholarship opportunities, and relevant news.
Developed as a hybrid mobile application, it uses Ionic and Cordova to combine native and web elements. Implements Cordova to access device features like camera and GPS through HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Conducts automated testing with Karma, ensuring high software quality. Employs Gulp to automate repetitive tasks, optimizing the development workflow. Utilizes Sass and Uglify for managing and minifying CSS and JavaScript, respectively. Incorporates Ngcordova and Angular libraries to enhance functionality. Integrates interactive maps
