This web-based tool enables easy and engaging collection of qualitative data through conversational interviews. Users can respond in chat or sequential mode, using text or voice, on any device. It includes built-in response analysis, and gives administrators access to a dashboard with interview results, progress tracking, and live follow-up tools for deeper insights.
This web application addresses the challenge of collecting high-quality qualitative data at scale. Traditional interviews can be time-consuming, hard to manage remotely, and inconsistent in format. By offering conversational and focused question modes, plus a mobile-friendly design, the tool makes it easier for users to share rich insights anytime, anywhere. Administrators benefit from automated analysis, real-time tracking, and live follow-up tools, streamlining the entire data collection and interpretation process.
**Capture richer qualitative insights through friction-free conversations.** This mobile-first web application lets you design, conduct, and analyze interviews entirely online. Two ways to engage participants: **Chat Mode** – All questions and answers appear in a single, flowing conversation—just like a messaging app; **Sequential Mode** – Show one question at a time to keep respondents focused and prevent information overload. Seamless respondent experience: Answer via **text** or **voice** (microphone-enabled) and receive an **auto-generated summary** of key findings the moment the interview ends (fully configurable by the administrator). Powerful tools for researchers include a **results dashboard** with full transcripts and exports, **progress charts** that track created vs. completed interviews at a glance, and a **live-chat takeover** to dive deeper or follow up in real time. Designed from the ground up for any screen size, Interview GPT turns qualitative data collection into a smooth, conversational experience—for both participants and administrators alike.
The tool consistently relies on open web standards: the interface is built with HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 2021/TypeScript; communication with the backend occurs via HTTP/HTTPS, exchanging data in JSON (RFC 7159); authentication is delegated to Microsoft Entra ID via the OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols, using JWT (RFC 7519) for tokens; voice capture uses the W3C's Web Speech API; and the mobile-first approach incorporates Progressive Web App principles such as Service Workers and Web Manifest, ensuring an interoperable, extensible experience free of proprietary dependencies.
