OpenG2P

OpenG2P is a platform designed to make it easier for governments and humanitarian organizations to deliver critical benefits through large-scale cash transfers. Its functionality ranges from resource and service management to authentication and record management, allowing efficient and direct distribution of funds to beneficiaries. Developed in response to needs during the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone, OpenG2P simplifies key processes such as aid program registration, identity verification and bank transfers. In addition, it makes it easier for government departments to create beneficiary registries, eligibility checks and payment disbursement, contributing to the reduction of social exclusion and advancing the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Managing social protection payments and transfers at scale is complex, especially in digital environments. There is a need for an integrated system that can handle these transactions securely and efficiently.
