OpenSanctions.org

OpenSanctions is an international database that gathers information on people and companies of political, criminal or economic interest. It combines sanctions lists, politically exposed persons databases and other relevant data into a single, easy-to-use data set. This tool allows you to check databases to detect conflicts of interest and signs of illicit activities, as well as evaluate potential clients and partners in international transactions. In addition, it facilitates the monitoring of political conflicts and the comparison of national sanctions policies, integrating this information into existing data products.
OpenSanctions solves the problem of identifying and managing risks associated with people and companies of political, criminal or economic interest. By consolidating sanctions lists and politically exposed person databases into a single data set, it makes it easier to detect conflicts of interest and illicit activities.
OpenSanctions is an international database that gathers information on individuals and companies of political, criminal, or economic interest. It combines sanctions lists and politically exposed persons databases into a unified dataset, facilitating the verification of conflicts of interest and illicit activities.
OpenSanctions normalizes its data using Follow-The-Money, a completely open entity- and relationship-oriented JSON model. It then offers CSV and line-delimited JSON exports, allowing Neo4j, Elasticsearch, or Pandas graphs to consume sanctions and PEP lists without additional mappings or closed licenses.
