Price Panel is a web application that uses text and data mining algorithms to display drug prices in an accessible way to public officials. Developed in R, its improvement is planned through new algorithms and the possible integration of Python. Created to offer price references in public procurement, this system facilitates decision-making and improves the efficiency of public procurement processes. The tool is shared to encourage the use of open source in price data analysis.
Price Panel provides public officials with an effective tool to consult and compare drug prices, optimizing the public purchasing process and ensuring the acquisition of products at fair and competitive prices.
Accessing and analyzing price data is vital for organizations and decision-makers. The Price Panel addresses this issue by providing a user-friendly platform that simplifies the tracking and analysis of price data, benefiting those who need to make data-driven decisions based on price trends.
Developed in R, it uses text and data mining algorithms to display reference prices for medications based on electronic invoices. Plans to incorporate Python and additional libraries to enhance its analysis.
