Simple UY
What is it?

Simple UY is a web system designed for the efficient implementation of electronic procedures, allowing public institutions to digitize their processes in a simplified manner. This system facilitates the creation of digital procedures, the design of forms and the management of users and groups, optimizing the interaction between the government and citizens. Adopted in 2016 as the first public software in Latin America, Simple UY is the result of collaboration between the governments of Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay, under the coordination of the Electronic Government Network for Latin America and the Caribbean. Its initial development by Chile's Modernization and Digital Government Unit in 2013, and subsequent improvements, reflect a regional effort to improve the efficiency of public services.

What problems does it solve?

Simple UY solves the challenge of digitizing public procedures efficiently, allowing institutions to simplify processes, design digital forms and manage users. This system improves the interaction between the government and citizens, promoting more accessible and efficient public services in Latin America and the Caribbean.

How does the tool work?

Includes open APIs that enable integration with external systems under a reliable banking architecture. Supports HTTP BASIC authentication, OAUTH2, and two-factor verification, ensuring high security standards. Built on a mature platform that prioritizes interoperability and data protection.
