What is it?

Student Rights is an information platform designed to manage confidential queries and complaints related to educational rights. Equipped with a question and answer system, it allows students, parents and educational actors in Uruguay to better understand rights in secondary and technical-vocational education. The tool was developed to respond to the need for knowledge about student rights, identified by the Representative Councils of Secondary Students. Its success and acceptance prompted constant updates to reflect new concerns and rights, thus facilitating its widespread use and replication in other contexts.

Student Rights solves the lack of access to reliable information on student rights, providing a platform that centralizes the management of queries and promotes education in rights in the educational field.

Open standards

Built on Ruby on Rails: leverages version 5.2.2 of the framework to provide a solid foundation in web development. Ensures efficient data management with PostgreSQL, guaranteeing reliability. Optimizes performance with PUMA, excelling in scalability. Incorporates SASS Rails for advanced SCSS styling management, enhancing visual appearance. Uses Uglifier to optimize JavaScript, increasing frontend efficiency.
