A tu Servicio is a web application that allows users in Uruguay to view, consult and compare indicators of health providers, both public and private. It facilitates informed decision-making when choosing or changing health providers, thus improving transparency in the sector. The tool was developed to improve access to information on health services, which has contributed to cost reduction. Despite the differences in global health systems, A tu Servicio has been replicated and improved in other countries, adapting to different needs.
At Your Service was created to make visible the data of each of the Health providers with the aim that when a user wants to join one of these institutions or wants to change providers, they can make the right decisions. After the launch of this tool, a significant improvement in the costs of health services was noted; these were reduced because users had greater access to information from each provider.
This Web application allows you to view the list of comprehensive health providers in the country, compare their indicators and make an informed decision. When you start the application, on the main page, it shows the Visualization module, through which information is made available for each of the Health Institutions on a series of attributes. Where the user can compare the values of each attribute for the different Institutions, as well as being able to group the latter by department, as shown in the following screenshot.
